Melissa asked Jessi to marry her on 7 June 2019
We were playing the game of LIFE, the first game we ever played together and Jessi’s favourite board game.
Jessi landed on the “Get Married” spot and reached out her hand, expecting Melissa to hand her a little pink person, instead, Melissa pulled out a ring and said, “How about you marry me in real life instead?”
Jessi sat, in shock, for quite awhile before exclaiming, multiple times, “THAT’S A RING!”, and FINALLY saying, “YES! Of course I want to marry you!”
